Designing with heart, so you can focus on remembering.

My story

When my own family faced the task of planning a funeral, I realised how overwhelming it can feel. There are so many details to organise, at a time when all you want is space to grieve and remember.

What stood out to me was how meaningful the little design touches were: a photograph, a colour, a flower that spoke to who our loved one really was. Those small details became a comfort, a way of honouring a life well lived.

That’s why I began the Farewell Studio.

My Role

I work closely with families to create personalised pieces, order of service booklets, photo boards, keepsakes; designed with thought and care.

I don’t use templates. I listen to your stories, I look at the photos you share, and I design something that feels true to your person. Every detail is chosen to reflect them, and to give you and your family something lasting to hold onto.

A woman wearing glasses and a beige long-sleeve shirt is sitting at a table, looking through a photo album. The table is decorated with dried flowers, and there are printed photographs and handwritten notes around it. In the background, there is a window, a vase with flowers, and a sideboard with framed pictures and decorative items.

For me, this work is about more than design. It’s about creating calm in a difficult moment, and ensuring the farewell feels beautiful, personal, and filled with love.

If I can make this part easier for you, and leave you with a keepsake that carries their memory forward, then I’ve done what I set out to do.
